June 9, Saturday: 9 am at Apaca Point - "Keep Guam Beautiful"
This community cleanup will take place at Apaca Point in Agat - a former WWII invasion site. Cold water in coolers, protective gloves, and trash bags will be provided. Please bring refillable water bottles and wear closed-toe shoes, hats, and sunscreen. All ages are welcome. Service learning credit is available. June 16, Saturday: 9 am - "Åmot yan Nengkanno' Asan Ridge Trail Opening Ceremony"

Join us at the Asan Beach Unit for a ribbon cutting ceremony and unveiling of new interpretive trail signs and learn about the traditional plant species used for local food (nangkanno') and medicine (åmot).

June 17, Sunday: 2 pm at the Visitor Center - "Science Sunday"
Science Sunday features current research projects happening right here on Guam and the Micronesian region. Presentations are open to all ages. No pre-registration is required. For more information, call 333-4050 or email gureefmonitoring@gmail.com

June 27, Wednesday: 10 am to 11 am at the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center - "Storytime at the National Park"
Join us for a great opportunity to introduce youth to the War in the Pacific National Historical Park and to explore park themes through story, song, and art. This program is appropriate for children age 4 and younger. For more information call 333-4050.
