Places to Stay in Guam
Guam offers a variety of places to stay, with options to fit every type of traveler.
Where to Find Accommodations
The majority of Guam's hotels are located in Tumon Bay, the island's main resort area. Here, you'll find luxurious, international-standard hotels surrounded by beautiful gardens right on the beach. Outside of Tumon, you can find quality business and family-style hotels in areas like Hagåtña, Maite, Tamuning, and Mangilao. Because of the island’s size, most of these properties are minutes away from the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport.
Tipping
When you're out and about, remember that tipping is an accepted practice in Guam, just like in the rest of the United States. A standard (and optional) tip for restaurant service, taxi drivers, and hotel staff is 10 to 15 percent. Keep in mind that some hotels may automatically add a 10-15% service charge to your restaurant bill.
