Things to Do in Guam  

Beaches & Nature  

Some of the places to see in Guam sit along the western coast. Spots like Tumon Beach and Ypao Beach Park are popular for their calm, shallow conditions. Further north, Ritidian Point sits inside a wildlife refuge at the island's northernmost tip, with a white-sand beach, jungle trails, and the remains of an ancient CHamoru village. Currents can be strong, so follow local guidelines before swimming.   

The south of the island has a quieter feel, with places like Inalåhan natural pools, enclosed by volcanic rock and open to the ocean, offering something distinct from the main resort strip. 

Water Activities  

Guam's reef system draws divers from across the Pacific, with sites ranging from shallow lagoons suited to beginners through to Apra Harbour's WWII wreck dives, including the only place in the world where you can dive wrecks from two different world wars. Above water, there are options for kayaking, parasailing, and glass-bottom boat tours out of Tumon.   

For something more immersive, some of Guam's tourist attractions are guided ocean tours that take you out to reef flats and drop-offs that aren't reachable from shore.  

Culture & Arts  

CHamoru culture is present through the food, art, and traditions you'll find across the island, with several places to experience it firsthand. The Wednesday night market at CHamoru Village in Hagåtña brings together local food vendors, craft stalls, live music, and dance, while the Guam Museum and the Guam Gallery of Art offers a deeper look at our heritage and island-based art. 

For a more immersive cultural experience, Valley of the Latte explores traditional CHamoru life through river cruises, cultural demonstrations, and historical sites. 

Family-Friendly Activities  

Families tend to stay around Tumon, where most of Guam’s family-friendly tourist attractions are within easy reach of each other. Two Lovers Point (Puntan Dos Amantes) is one of the island's most visited spots, a cliffside lookout with a legendary story that appeals to all ages. Guam Adventures runs a zipline course with views over the bay, and Tumon's calm, shallow water is well-suited to young swimmers.  

On Sunday evenings, the Tumon Night Market brings the area to life with local food, artisan stalls, live performances, and family-friendly activities, making it an easy addition to a day spent at the beach.
